Evernote helps you remember bits of information, ideas and notes that are important to you and helps you stay organize as well. The app can be used to record audio notes so you can remember your thoughts on a particular matter; take pictures while you are out comparison shopping and add tags to those picture to make them searchable.


The truth is that there are a million and one ways you can use Evernote to organize your life. Some of the app’s key features include the ability to:

  • Sync notes across all your computers and devices
  • Create and edit text notes, to-dos and task lists
  • Record voice and audio notes
  • Access core features and recent notes with the Evernote widget
  • Organize notes by tags
  • Email notes and save tweets to your Evernote account
  • Connect Evernote to other apps and products you use

For this app to be truly useful you must create an online account. That account will allow you to access your notes from anywhere, providing you have an Internet connection. If you purchase the premium version you get the ability to add, sync, access and share files such as PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. The premium version also allows you to share, access and modify notebooks as well as access your notes offline.
